Gunmen abduct UNIMAID lecturer in Nasarawa

A lecturer in the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) Dr Robert Kever, has been kidnapped by unknown gun men in his residence at Angwan Jama’ah in Keffi local government area of Nasarawa State.
A member of the family who spoke to Journalists on condition of anonymity disclosed that the kidnappers stormed their compound in numbers on Wednesday around two o’clock in the morning with sophisticated weapons, broke into the house and whisked away Dr Kever to an unknown destination.
Dr Kever who is now in kidnappers’ den, has visited his family from Maiduguri to attend to crucial family matters before he taken away by his abductors.
Dr Kever’s wife lost consciousness because of the incident and was rushed to Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, for medical attention.
