Taraba poly gets new rector, registrar

Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai, has a new leadership with the appointment of Dr Amos Agbu Danlami as Acting Rector of the polytechnic.
Dr. Amos’ appointment was based on the expiration of the tenure of the former rector, Dr Ayuba Ibrahim Abarshi on May 13, 2024 after a successful four years tenure at the institution.
Dr. Danlami, before his appointment as the Acting Rector, was the former Deputy Rector, Administration, of Taraba State Polytechnic, where he served and completed his tenure successfully. He also served as former Dean, School of Engineering, as well as one-time Head of Department, Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Dr Danlami holds a PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering at Moddibo Adama University of Technology, Yola, Adamawa State. He joined the Taraba State Polytechnic as a lecturer before he rose to the present position.
Meanwhile, the former Registrar, Comrade Ignatius Innocent Jellason, whose tenure elapsed since December 2023, was replaced by Mr Kwesinde Biki as the new Acting Registrar of the polytechnic.
