Our our able governor, Umar Namadi, did not attend the all important occasion but sent a powerful representative that ably stood for him among other dignitaries. The reason for Gov. Namadi’s absence at the the bestowal of honours on the man who has contributed immensely to education and socio-economic life of Jigawa State was due to the fact that he was at the same day and time receiving The Governor of the Year Award bestowed upon him by LEADERSHIP newspapers in Abuja.
