His provision of 120 JAMB PINs worth ₦1.2 million, NABTEB registration fees for students, and the supply of books, chalk, and writing materials to nomadic schools across ten wards underscore his inclusive approach; one that recognises both formal and non-formal education as critical tools for empowerment.
Equally commendable is his sponsorship of students in health and legal institutions, including the BELBA College of Nursing and the Atiku Abubakar College of Legal and Islamic Studies. These investments in human capital are not mere political gestures; they are deliberate steps to cultivate the next generation of professionals who will serve and uplift their communities.
Building a healthier and safer society
Healthcare delivery in rural areas often suffers from neglect, but Senator Malam Madori has refused to let his constituency be forgotten. His donation of a brand-new ambulance to the General Hospital in Kirikasamma, coupled with financial assistance to over 13 patients, reflects a compassionate concern for human life and dignity. These interventions, though modest in scale, have made a significant difference in emergency response and medical accessibility within the local government area.
Moreover, his commitment to security — a foundational pillar of development — deserves special mention. The supply of a brand-new Toyota Hilux vehicle worth ₦55 million to the Kirikasamma Police Division and the complete renovation of the facility have not only strengthened law enforcement capacity but also boosted morale among officers. At a time when rural insecurity remains a pressing concern, such support is both timely and strategic.
Infrastructure for progress
Senator Malam Madori’s infrastructural interventions reveal a leader who understands that development must be visible and functional. The installation of solar-powered streetlights across several communities — Jarmari, Bulunchai, Karigidi, Madugunari, Ilallah, Maguwa, and Kirikasamma town — has improved security, enhanced night-time economic activity, and beautified local environments.
The construction of mosques in Baredi and Alhajeri, as well as the ongoing modern stadium project in Kirikasamma, reflects a holistic approach that values spiritual wellbeing and youth development in equal measure. Additionally, the repair of water tanks, transformers, and hand pumps across villages demonstrates attention to detail and responsiveness to everyday community needs.
Empowering the vulnerable and driving economic growth
Perhaps the most defining feature of Senator Malam Madori’s leadership is his empathy for the vulnerable. His numerous palliative distributions — from bags of rice and cash relief to targeted support for storm victims, orphans, and people with disabilities — reflect a social conscience rarely seen in contemporary politics.
The ₦2 million package for 200 persons with disabilities, ₦1 million start-up support for Fulani women, and ₦10 million in business grants to entrepreneurs are not merely acts of charity; they are investments in dignity and economic independence. His empowerment of 50 women in handcraft and petty trading, coupled with training opportunities and cash support, aligns perfectly with the national call for gender inclusion and rural enterprise development.
The monthly allowance scheme for select beneficiaries further illustrates his commitment to consistent, sustainable welfare rather than short-term publicity stunts. By facilitating the recruitment of 19 new police officers and supporting local associations, he has also contributed to employment creation and community solidarity.
