The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the sale of application forms for the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) to May 8, 2026.

According to the statement by the Board’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, the extension is part of efforts to ensure that no eligible candidate is denied the opportunity to gain access to tertiary education.

To further ease the registration process, JAMB approved five additional centres in high-demand areas. These include the Centre for Open and Distance Learning, Mini Campus of the University of Ilorin; Bells University of Technology; Olabisi Onabanjo University; the Prof. Usman E-Learning Centre at the Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo; and Human Development Initiatives (Grace House) in Lagos, which commenced operations on 30 April.

JAMB also reminded candidates that its offices nationwide, including Professional Registration Centres (PRCs) and Professional Testing Centres (PTCs), remain open for ongoing registration.
