2026 MOP-UP UTME: Candidates can now print notification slip

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates scheduled to participate in the 2026 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination notification slips ahead of the exercise.
The Board’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, noting that the Mop-Up UTME is scheduled to hold nationwide on Saturday, 13 June 2026.
He urged all eligible candidates to obtain their slips as early as possible to avoid last-minute challenges.
According to JAMB, the examination notification slip contains essential details required for the examination, including candidates’ examination centres, dates, time schedules and other important instructions necessary for a smooth conduct of the exercise.
The Board explained that the Mop-Up Examination is specifically organised for candidates who were unable to sit for the main UTME due to technical issues encountered during the examination period, as well as candidates whose biometric verification could not be successfully completed at their designated centres.
JAMB advised eligible candidates to visit its official portal and click on the “Print 2026 Mop-Up UTME Slip” link to access and print their examination notification slips.
The Board further urged candidates to familiarise themselves with the locations of their examination centres before the examination date to avoid delays and logistical difficulties on the day of the exercise.
Benjamin said candidates should print their slips well ahead of the examination date and acquaint themselves with their examination centres to ensure a hitch-free examination experience.
He also emphasized that the forthcoming Mop-Up Examination represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to sit the 2026 UTME, stressing that no additional examination would be conducted after the exercise.
The Board, therefore, called on all affected candidates to take advantage of the opportunity and make adequate preparations for the examination.
The Mop-Up UTME is part of JAMB’s commitment to ensuring that candidates affected by unforeseen technical and verification challenges are provided with a fair opportunity to participate in the nation’s tertiary admissions examination process.
Candidates are encouraged to strictly comply with all examination guidelines and arrive at their centres early on the day of the examintation.
