Why Gov Aliyu’s detractors work in vain

The unwavering commitment to the people’s welfare and hardwork of Governor Ahmad Aliyu has exposed the opposition’s malicious proganda against his government. Practically, the opposition lacks what to say so they tried, but in vain, to weave a network of lies and falsehoods around his government and personality.
Since assuming office, Governor Aliyu has been a beacon of hope for the downtrodden, implementing transformative policies and projects that have significantly impacted their lives. However, the opposition, prompted by jealousy, hatred and desperation, has relentlessly sought to tarnish his reputation and discredit his achievements, not leaving out his family members.
But the good works of Governor Aliyu will continue to expose the malicious agenda of the opposition and his traducers.
Governor Aliyu, when he resumed office as the executive governor, prioritized economic growth, attracting investments and creating a window of opportunities for the people.
Puting the people at the centre of his policies, he established the Sokoto State Investment Promotion Agency to facilitate business growth and development.
Knowing that business cannot be run without finance, he launched the Sokoto State Microfinance Scheme to empower entrepreneurs. The empowerment of the entrepreneurs has created a chain of businesses in the state, which has helped the youth to fend for themselves.
Governor Aliyu has constructed roads and infrastructure to enhance trade and commerce, and this has intensified the ease of doing business in the state.
Education and Healthcare are not left out in Governor Aliyu’s transformation of the state. He has revolutionized the education and healthcare sectors, ensuring access to quality services for all. He has built new schools and renovated existing ones to improve learning environments; introduced the Sokoto State Scholarship Scheme to support students; upgraded healthcare facilities and recruited medical professionals to enhance service delivery.
In water resources and agricultural sector, the governor has transformed the agricultural sector, making Sokoto State a hub for food production. He has
launched the Sokoto State Irrigation Scheme to support farmers; distributed modern farming equipment and inputs to boost productivity; constructed dams and water supply systems to ensure access to clean water and dry farming to ensure food sufficiency for the people.
Despite Governor Aliyu’s impressive successes and achievements, the opposition has resorted to spreading falsehoods and misinformation to discredit him. They have consistently
fabricated stories about non-existent scandals; manipulated facts to create the impression of incompetence;
sponsored fake news articles and social media campaigns to tarnish his image and that of his wife.
But attempting to tarnish the image of Governor Aliyu and his family is a herculean task, because the people are not gullible to such lies, all because of the governor’s antecedents.
Governor Ahmad Aliyu’s commitment to the people of Sokoto State is unwavering. His remarkable achievements have transformed the state, improving lives and creating opportunities. The opposition’s malicious agenda will not deter him from his mission to serve the people. rather theirs malice against him is a prompt to do more to the people.
As the truth prevails, Governor Aliyu’s reputation will continue to shine, and his legacy will endure, spanning generations of Sokoto leaders, spiritual or temporal.
One important aspect of the anti-Governor Aliyu propaganda is that people criticized him for allegedly muzzling the press in relation to the Tureta saga because of his arrest
Tureta claimed to be an activist but he was not.
Tureta did not find all Governor Aliyu’s work to the people worthy of publication but sharing a Facebook post critical of the governor’s wife.
Gov. Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has implemented various initiatives aimed at youth development and empowerment, including Sokoto Youth Empowerment Programme (SYEP); a comprehensive programme providing training, mentorship, and funding for young entrepreneurs;
he established a Sokoto State Youth Development Agency, which was established to coordinate and implement youth-focused initiatives;
he instituted skills acquisition and vocational training: programmes aimed at equipping youths with marketable skills for self sufficiency.
As one of his top priorities. he ensured scholarships, bursaries, and infrastructure development to improve access to quality education for personal and technological developments.
Governor Aliyu invested in sports facilities and programmes to promote youth engagement and talent development in the state.
This space is not enough to highlight achievements of Governor Aliyu. But I must talk about his digital literacy Initiatives to enhance digital skills and online entrepreneurship among youths;
collaborations with private sector partners to provide on-the-job training; his efforts to increase youth representation in decision-making processes; creating access to funding and resources for young entrepreneurs and pairing youths with experienced professionals for guidance and support.
All these initiatives demonstrate Governor Aliyu’s commitment to empowering Sokoto’s youths, enhancing their skills, and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.
What else would anybody want with the chief executive of their state?
Well aware that business cannot thrive in a climate of fear, Governor Aliyu has taken several measures to ensure the security of life and property in the state, including: enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of security agencies, such as the police, DSS, and NSCDC;
he implemented community policing initiatives to foster collaboration between security agencies and local communities; he enhanced intelligence gathering capabilities to prevent and respond to security threats; he strengthened border patrols to prevent infiltration by criminals and bandits;
he nstalled CCTV cameras and other surveillance systems to monitor public spaces and set up Dialogue and Reconciliation, engaging in dialogue and reconciliation efforts with communities and groups to address grievances which stall the development and progress of the state.
Others are establishing a security joint task force to coordinate responses to security threats in the state; providing necessary support and resources to security agencies to enhance their operations; developing an emergency response plan to respond swiftly to security incidents. Collaboration with Neighboring States, he government is Collaborating with neighbouring states to share intelligence and coordinate security efforts.
Governor Aliyu’s detractors have clearly demonstrated that no matter how good a man is, he is bound to have enemies. These enemies, on daily basis.are thinking of new ways to discredit Governor Aliyu’s hard-earned reputation, but unfortunately for them the governor’s popularity continues to soar like an eagle because his benevolence in the state is self-evident, therefore no amount of blackmail and distraction can stop him.
