The Federal
Polytechnic, Nasarawa, has matriculated 3,185 students, comprising 2,585
National Diploma (ND) and 600 Higher National Diploma (HND) students.

students at the 36th matriculation the polytechnic’s rector, Abdullahi Alhassan
Ahmed urged the new students to be security conscious at all times, and be
law-abiding members to ensure peace on the campus.

security had become an issue of serious concern all over the country while
assuring that the management of the school would never relent in checking the
menace of insecurity. Ahmed emphasised that the management would continue to
prioritise security provisions for students, adding that all necessary safety
measures had been put in place. He disclosed that the polytechnic had agile and
experienced security personnel that monitor all students’ movements and
interactions without their knowledge.

cards conspicuously displayed on our persons once on campus. I pray for your

all students that the institution would not tolerate any act of indiscipline,
cultism, drug abuse, indecent dressing, examination malpractice, and other
