FUTMINNA promotes 7 to professors, readers

governing council of Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA), in Niger
state, has approved the promotion of four associate professors and three senior
lecturers to professors and readers, respectively.

Their
promotion was approved at the 137th meeting of the school’s governing council,
held at the Senate chamber of the school Wednesday. In a statement issued by
the university after the meeting, Dr. Olugboji Olufemi Ayodeji of the
Department of Mechanical Engineering; Dr. Ajayi Michael Tolulope Adeyemi of the
Department of Estate Management and Valuation; Dr. Jiya Elisha Zhiri of the
Department of Animal Production; and Dr. Kur Jude Terna of the Department of
Information and Media Technology, were all promoted from associate professors
to professors.

October 1, 2017 and October 1, 2019, respectively. Others took effect from
