Nasir Maiturare, has assured that his administration will deploy necessary
financial and logistic supports towards promoting and boosting research
activities in the field of meteorology and climatology at the university.

fundamental roles of their organisation in facilitating the growth and
development of diverse sectors of the nation’s economy.

out that it was in realisation of the objectives of NiMet that it became
necessary for the agency to extend hand of linkages and partnership to
educational institutions.

further disclosed that the main Resident Observatory Station (ROS) would be
established in IBBUL so as to facilitate the collation, storage and quality
control of meteorological and climatological activities.

(NYSC) so as to achieve mutual benefits.
