NECO registrar, Wushishi, loses father

The Registrar and Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council (NECO), Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, has been bereaved following the death of his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Nawuya Wushishi.
Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Nawuya Wushishi, a respected community leader in Wushishi Local Government Area of Niger State, passed away at the age of 106 years.
He is survived by 12 children, 60 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Among his children is Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, who currently serves as the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO.
The late patriarch was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.
Announcing the passing in a statement, Azeez Sani, Acting Director, Information and Public Relations, NECO, described the late Alhaji Ibrahim as a man of integrity, wisdom and deep commitment to community service, whose long life left a lasting impact on his family and society.
The management and staff of the National Examinations Council have expressed heartfelt condolences to Professor Wushishi and the entire Wushishi family over the irreparable loss, praying for strength and comfort for them at this difficult time, praying Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
