The 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) kick-started  by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) across  the 36 states and FCT on Friday was peaceful and orderly at Nasarawa Federal Polytechnic.

The peaceful ambiance became possible because parents and guardians of candidates complied with the earlier  directive issued by the JAMB registrar, Professor  Ishaq Oloyede. At the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa CBT centre, no single parent was seen even 500 metres from the exam hall.
There was orderliness in  two designated centres where the examination  took place.

One of the candidates who sat for the exam at the Fedpoly CBT centre  attested to the functionality of the computers used by the school and orderliness ensured by examination officers.

”The system I  used didn’t give me any problem.  I believe that was how the other candidates enjoyed their systems, he said.
The examination scheduled for 7:00am , eventually started at 8:15am but the one hour delay did not in anyway affected its smooth conduct.
