2026 UTME: Print, keep original result slip for reference –JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be able to print their original result slips within two hours on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, and keep it for future references.
In a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr Fabian Benjamin, the board explained that the original result slip contains important information, including the candidate’s photograph, national ranking and other security features.
He noted that the document forms part of the official requirements for post-UTME screening and admission consideration by tertiary institutions across the country.
According to the board, candidates can conveniently print the slip from any internet-enabled device, including personal computers, smartphones and accredited business centres.
JAMB advised candidates to carefully verify all details contained on the slip immediately after printing to ensure accuracy and avoid complications during admission processing.
The examination body also urged candidates to keep copies of the document for future admission-related purposes, stressing that the Original Result Slip remains an important credential throughout the admission exercise.
The board reaffirmed its commitment to providing seamless and accessible services to candidates as the 2026 admission process progresses.
Dr Benjamin encouraged candidates and other stakeholders to take advantage of the online platform to obtain the document without delay.
