Taraba PDP inaugurates committee to reconcile aggrieved members

The Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Taraba State has inaugurated a 16-man committee to address the intra-party grievances and restructure the party membership.
The inauguration which had drawn a mammoth crowd was held at the party secretariat in Jalingo, Taraba State. Many party loyalists were in attendance.
Speaking with Journalists after the inauguration, the chairman of the committee and an elder statesman, Senator Zik Sunday, said Taraba State has been under the PDP rule as a political party since the return of democracy in Nigeria 24 years ago.
Zik said the committee was ready to deliver it’s mandate by contacting the aggrieved members, especially those who left the party due to injustice, conflict of interest or for the purpose of seeking political leadership elsewhere.
He stated that the strategies to win the heart of the aggrieved members had been perfected to ensure that all issues relating to crisis in the party are effectively tackled.
Zik described the action of the aggrieved and decamped members as a family issues which is subject to peaceful resolution.
The 16-man committee for reconciliation and resolution of the intra-party grievances was inaugurated by the state chairman of the party, Alh. Abubakar Bawal.
