The Director-General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Brig-General Shuaibu Ibrahim has been devorated with the new rank of Major-General at the Nigerian Army Command Mess, Abuja, Thursday.
Similarly, Major-General Shuaibu Ibrahim same day received ‘Man of the Year’ award from the Centre for Social Justice Equity and Transparency (CESJET) in Abuja.
Director of Welfare and Health Services Omotade Ayodele Folorunso, on behalf Major- General Ibrahim, recieved the award.
The event had in attendance dignitaries such as the former Director-General, National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Prof. Ahmed Danfulani who was also a guest speaker at the event amongst others.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of an award shield and N100,000. 00 cash prize, first time CESJET instituted such award, and General Ibrahim was the sole winner.
