No ongoing staff recruitment at NECO

The attention of the National Examinations Council (NECO) has been drawn to an online publication falsely claiming that the Council is currently undertaking a recruitment exercise.
In an official statement released on Wednesday, Mr. Azeez Sani, NECO’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, urged the general public to disregard the publication, emphasizing that NECO has no plans to recruit new staff at this time.
The Council categorically states that this misleading information is the handiwork of fraudsters seeking to exploit unsuspecting individuals.
NECO, under the competent leadership of the Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, remains committed to transparency and compliance with due process and all relevant regulations. Any future recruitment will be conducted only after receiving the necessary approval from the Federal Government.
“The public is hereby advised to remain vigilant and rely solely on official NECO communication channels for accurate information,” Sani said.
