Minister of Youths and Sports Sunday Dare has described the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Brig-General (Associate Professor) Shuaibu Ibrahim, as a workaholic who is unmatched by many public officeholders, even him.
Speaking in glowing terms of the NYSC boss, Dare said General Ibrahim, in his official duty, tours the major state capitals of Nigeria without getting tired, like a sportsman.
“I thought I was a workaholic, until I found my match in Brig-General Shuaibu Ibrahim,” Mr Dare spoke on NTAi during the weekly NYSC Half Hour Wednesday, at the launch of “A Call to Service”.
A Call to Service is a film produced by NYSCwood, consisting mostly budding actors and actresses among corps members as well as veteran Nollywood actors and actresses, like Pete Edochie, Ali Nuhu and others.
He said General Ibrahim goes to Lagos and other major cities without getting tired as if Abuja to Lagos and other state capitals are walkable distances.
Many speakers at the launch stressed that General Ibrahim’s zeal to the service of his fatherland has taken the NYSC scheme to limelight, adding that NYSC has come to stay.
