Taraba Govt, World Bank seek monarch’s support to
end out-of-school- menace

Bank Thursday sought the support of the Aku Uka of Wukari, Dr Shekarau Angyu,
to tackle out of school children menace in the state.

The Permanent Secretary, Taraba state
Ministry of Education, Mr Samson Ada, made the appeal during a
courtesy call on the monarch in Wukari.

education with support from World Bank was determined to ensure that
school-age children had access to quality education in the state.

The Permanent Secretary solicited
the Aku Uka’s support to ensure that school age children got enrolled in
schools so as to secure their future and guarantee a peaceful society.

your office as chairman, Taraba Council of Chiefs, to assist in sensitising
the people to the dangers of increasing incidence of out-of-school

to support each child that is brought back to school in Taraba with the
intention to mop up all out-of-school children in the state.

The Aku Uka thanked the delegation
