TETFund to unify national research efforts, holds exhibition Nov 17

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has initiated a strategic plan to unify the various research achievements nationwide.
This is to consolidate the country’s research outputs and drive innovation in the process.
In his speech at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, stated that TETFund would be hosting a five-day Research Exhibition starting from November 17, 2024.
The exhibition, set to be held at Eagle Square, Abuja, will feature the latest groundbreaking researches in Nigeria.
The event will attract researchers, inventors, and creators from all zones of the country, providing a platform to showcase their cutting-edge projects and visionary ideas.
Prof. Mamman highlighted that extensive consultations are ongoing with various institutions and organisations to encourage participation and foster partnerships that could lead to the establishment of new enterprises or enhance existing ones.
“TETFund is organising this exhibition to align with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which focuses on rebooting the economy through job creation, wealth generation, and improving the general welfare of Nigerians,” Mamman stated.
He added that the fair was designed to allow researchers and inventors to participate at no cost, and it will be open to the public free of charge, adding that further details about the event can be accessed on the TETFund website.

He emphasised the importance of the initiative in harnessing the potential and achievements in innovation and creativity nationwide.
“This exhibition is open to all Nigerians, including research institutes, private inventors, and digital creators.
