Welfare of Corps Members
The
Scheme accords top priority to the security and general welfare of corps
members just as it remains committed to the provision of enabling environment
for them to render selfless service to the nation. Over the years, we have been
able to secure the review of Corps Members’ allowance each time there is
increment in the remuneration of civil servants. The management of NYSC has
also taken other measures in the pursuit of the welfare of Corps Members including,
Liaison with security agencies
We
are in a continuous liaison with various security agencies with a view to
ensuring the safety of corps members wherever they are serving in the country.
I am using this opportunity to express our appreciation to the Security
Agencies and other stakeholders for their support in this regard.
