Candidates who registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination notification slips, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced.
According to a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin on Thursday, the examination is scheduled to commence on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
The Board urged all candidates to promptly print their slips to ascertain their specific examination date, venue, and time, noting that the examination will be conducted over multiple days.
To access the slip, candidates are required to visit the Board’s official website at www.jamb.gov.ng, and click on the “2026 UTME Slip Printing” link.
JAMB emphasised the importance of early printing, advising candidates to familiarise themselves with their designated examination centres well ahead of time to avoid last-minute challenges. Each candidate has been assigned a unique schedule, and early arrival at centres is mandatory to allow for proper screening and accreditation before the commencement of the examination.
The Board further disclosed that enhanced security measures have been introduced for this year’s exercise to curb examination malpractice. It warned both candidates and centre operators to strictly adhere to the rules, stressing that any form of misconduct would attract severe sanctions.
JAMB reiterated its commitment to conducting a credible and transparent examination process, urging candidates to comply with all guidelines for a smooth exercise.
