This recognition, organized by the Vanguard Newspaper during its Personalities of the Year Award ceremony in Lagos, is more than a plaque on the wall—it is a powerful endorsement of the leadership virtues and populist ideals that have defined Governor Yusuf’s time in office. It is a celebration of integrity, people-centred governance, and an inspiring vision that resonates not only in Kano but across the northern political landscape.
